Grand Aggregate and Mixed Playdowns

Since the Mixed league operates differently than many of the other leagues, we thought it would be worthwhile to explain a few of these differences here on the blog.

The Grand Aggregate is awarded to the team (among all Mixed teams) with the best record throughout the regular season.  As the records stand right now, it's looking like there may be a need for a tiebreaker this season, but we will cross that bridge when we get to it.

The Mixed league also has it's own playoffs.  The top 8 teams are invited to play in the playoffs.  The games take place during the regular schedule of play downs culminating with the top 2 meeting on the night of the Club Championship.  It would be helpful for us if you would mark a "Yes" next to your team name on the draw sheets if you are interested in the playoffs (and a "No" if you're not).

Good curling.
